With every passing day, his one or two supporters’ notion of George W. Bush as a president with convictions, wearing a suit of moral fiber, becomes more laughable.

American blacks are held down by a dysfunctional culture of rap music, “bling,” and cultural illiteracy, in which the only imaginable goal is fame — not achievement, except perhaps in sports, but fame.

Instead of encouraging them to rise above this sociological toxic waste dump, liberals tell American blacks that it’s all whitey’s fault, that after half a century of civil rights progress and 30 years of affirmative action they are still victims of racism, and their only hope is to feed from larger government-filled troughs.

Bill Clinton never found a minority group he wouldn’t flatter till they blushed, and now Bush carries on the tradition in the hope of buying back some votes the Dems previously outbid him for.
