That’s about right…at least from the Russian view. Of course, the “big picture”
is that Russia is threatened by foreign interference in its soft underbelly; the caucasus region. (jmho)
I’m beginning to think that the neo-cons (especially the PNAC crowd) would like to follow the advice given at Stratfor today…
“U.S., Saudi Arabia: Holding the Chechen Card” August 14, 2008 1938 GMT: “The United States and Saudi Arabia could try riling up separatists in Russia’s Muslim areas to keep the resurging Russia occupied. (With Stratfor map) [more]”

It is disturbing to think that the USA might even consider combining with Saudi Arabia to brew trouble for the people of Chenchya and Georgia….I hope and pray that the above is not even on the table for consideration.

I can’t imagine something that would be more stupid than that. If it is so, then the assholes pushing for it should be shot. I’m serious.
I’m not sure about this preview thing. Someone explain. On my computer the cartoon shows up from the get-go plus it also appears on the “snap” preview feature when you move the cursor over the image.
Can anyone explain this preview thing and also how and whether it works with the wordpress.com interface?
The ‘Preview’ feature is common in both blogs and forums.
It enables the poster to see how their comment will appear without actually sending it along. Blogger (such as Rick Darby’s blog) supports this as does Haloscan (Vanishing American).
I suspect WordPress also supports ‘Preview’ but I’ve never used WordPress. Check the WordPress FAQ. It could have the info on how to enable it.

I like this cartoon. Funny but true, I’m afraid.
To Outraged above, I second that. Anyone who would advocate that is on the enemy’s side, the real enemy that is. Not Russia but our common enemy.
Yes, the lack of a preview facility is a despicable encumbrance.

I don’t know how it is implemented, but I think they are talking about the feature where their comments can be viewed before permanently posting them.
If we want to post a click-able link or make bold text, a preview function would allow us to make sure that they show up in the way we intended.
“Preview” is supposed to reduce these eye sores:

TEST
Whoa. I didn’t expect to get those right on the first try.
Here’s what I intended:
(URL=annika.mu.nu/URL)
