Dominique Strauss Kahn has some strange defenders, including “conservative” Americans like Ben Stein. Even so-called conservative and occasional-defender-of-Roman-Polanski Larry Auster’s first instinct was to suggest this all may be a set up. Indeed, I’m sure this is all a big misunderstanding related to the French Socialist Party’s requirements of celibacy. And I’m sure Ben Stein and Larry Auster’s only concern is truth and objectivity, as was the concern of those great human rights defenders in Hollywood when the rapist Polanski was in the dock.
Our new leadership class is getting pretty bold in its late modern period, no?
