Isn’t it funny that the people who insist that abortion cannot be restricted lest we “tell a woman what to do with her body,” have no trouble saying what we can put in our stomachs or our lungs or on our bookshelves.
The “libertarian” aspect of the pro-choice movement is a mirage. Feminists and other assorted kooks don’t care about liberty. They don’t want to allow employers, for example, to pay people what they want, hire whom they want, and for people generally to live around whom they want. They simply want to destroy the family, which is an obstacle to the progressive power grab, and what better way to do it than to unleash the long-suppressed female instinct to hypergamy and to address the practical problem of child rearing that kept some women on the straight and narrow historically with generous welfare payments.
