Well, I guess things are back to normal now that the multiracial perpetrators of Freddie Gray’s death did not quite fit the script. Instead, we have the Waco incident, where nine bikers were gunned down by some combination of rival bikers and cops. 170 guys, as well as a few of their “old ladies” (about 2/3 white, 1/3 Hispanic, and two or three blacks) were arrested and held with million dollar bonds.
As usual–ask George Zimmerman–Hispanics become “whites” when it serves the media’s purposes. Instead of noting that this is some pretty harsh treatment where there are probably some pretty widely varying degrees of culpability, instead we’re told it’s proof of media and police double standards on race . . . as in an anti-black double standards. And they mean it! I’m sure the CNN special on these “victims of police brutality” and “overcharging” is just around the corner. I mean, didn’t you know all those Baltimore rioters who were in gangs were charged with RICO-based capital felonies? Well, I’m sure the cutting edge prosecutor will get around to it.
Anyway, it’s a day to honor America’s fallen. And what better way to do that then to promote grievances by women in uniform, as you can see in two different stories in today’s New York Times.
